Hello, I’m Joe.

I’m a professionally qualified civil and structural engineer, holding Incorporated status (IEng MICE) with the Institution of Civil Engineers, the world-renowned professional engineering body. I have several years of experience working within a large consultancy.

I love being a structural engineer and the way my work has the potential and the power to change people's lives for the better. Clients tell me I’m thorough, approachable and quick to understand their needs. (And if you need something different, or don’t need me at all, I’ll happily tell you and help you find the right person.)

I’m a Sheffield lad, born in Nether Edge hospital and have lived close to the city all my life. I have travelled around the world and though I have been to some incredible places, Sheffield is where I belong.

Before I started my engineering career, I worked in hospitality and sales and have a wealth of experience in communicating with a wide range of people, from all backgrounds.

All Structures Ltd was born during the 2020 lockdown. Like many people, I took time reflecting on life and work, and decided I would be able to enjoy a more fulfilling work-life balance if I could work directly with my own clients, to look people in the eye and tell them the truth.

So, I built a shed/studio in my garden (see below) and after further procrastination, I launched All Structures Ltd.
